Want to buy computer -- Should I wait for New York Christmas Sale ?

I am planning to buy a HP iq506 computer. Its currently for $1500 at stores. Should I wait for the Christmas-New Year Sale? How much are the discounts generally? Its my first christmas in New York since I moved in... Whats it like... are the stores filled up or what?

1. Your only consideration should be,what do you want the PC to do ?You then look at the PC,s that will achieve what you want,and buy the best that you can afford.You would be advised to have a good talk with a PC repairer or Microsoft engineer ,they will give you the best advice and deals.
2. My advice, my friend, wait until after Christmas, you will get a better bargain on computers as the store will start advertising their "End of Year Clearance." Good luck
