Do you have to pay first for the "free ipod" touch in the Mac computer discount?
Okay, So i want to buy a mac and saw the "buy a mac and get a free i touch". My question is, do I have to pay for the i pod when i purchase the computer? and then they will give me the money back after wards? If so, how will I be getting the money back from apple? Will it be a check, money order?

- yea i noticed that too. as far as i know they want you to pay for it and u can get up to £140 back or something but thats just stupid cos the ipod costs more than that. wt u cud do though is do tht and dnt use it, get £140, sell the ipod and buy a second hand one. make some money along the way
- I am not sure about *how* you would get the rebated money, but yes, you DO need to purchase the iPod with the Mac to be eligible for the rebate. It is important that you buy them at the same time, though, because they MUST be on the same receipt. From there, you can just use Apple's handy online rebate submitting tool that should take care of it. Best of luck, Chris
- I like the ipod touch and you can get it for Free without purchacing anything. I thought it was gonna be some kind of a scam but it's totally free. All i did was sign up to a two week free trial on LoveFilms and then refer some freinds to do the same. It's legit and they don't ask for any credit card details, trust me cus' i don't have one. Lol. Also i notice you want to get a free laptop well they have an apple macbook air , so you can have that for no cost. Try it, it saved me so much money, exept I got the iphone instead.
