New IBM computer Hard drive Pre Load?

When i go into My Computer on my IBM laptop it says IBM_Preload (C Drive). Is it still the same hard drive or do i have to install more things?

1. Its for restoring your Operating system if it crashes. Usually I would never touch anything or any file on that portion.
