How much would an almost brand-new desktop computer sell for?

It is a newer model HP pavilion desktop with a 20" widescreen hi-def monitor the desktop has 3gb of memory and a 500gb hard drive, (I am pretty sure it has a) NVIDIA GeForce 8200 M graphics card , it has an intel pentium dual core processor which I think runs at 2.3mhz. So if you bought it you would get Speakers, Keyboard, Mouse, Computer and monitor. I have only used it for a few months, it is in great condition and runs like new. I would throw in the microsoft student 2007 package as well. (word, microsoft ppt, stuff like that.) how much do you think I would get for it? Would I be insane to ask in the 400$-500$ range?

500-600 if its still new in box never been used but since im sure you have used it a bit 400-500 like you said
500 sounds about right
If i was you i would take the price that you bought it for new, and take off $100-150 or so. $400-500 doesn't sound too out there.
That sounds like a pretty decent price. Just make sure you have the set of Recovery Disks that go with it as you'll want to wipe the hard drive of all information before you sell the outfit. The operating system will be removed and will have to be re-installed via the Recovery Disks.
