DELL Desktop and Monitor Power Cord Mix Up?

I have a 3 year old DELL desktop computer that 4 times a year travels back and forth across the state with me to and from college. Nearly every time I make sure to label which power cords go to which machines, but this last time I forgot. Now I have two power cords, one to my monitor and one to my CPU and I do not know which cord goes to which. One is a Longwell E55349 10A 125V LS-13 LP-31 The other is Foxconn E301899 10A 125V FM-008 The computer itself is a DELL XPS 410 produced in 2006, and the monitor is a standard 19" that was included with the computer package. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks so much!

  1. The power cords are 100% interchangeable. The both have a standard kettle plug on one end and a standard multi pin power outlet connector on the other. In fact your power cables are interchangeable with pretty much any desktop PC or monitor anywhere in the country that has been made over the last 20-25 years. I've personally swapped cables between different models and brands literally hundreds of times, I've even used cables with PCs and Monitors that are maybe 5-10 years different in age.
