Does ipod charge while plugged into a computer?

newb question... anywho bought it from a wholesaler on ebay, doesnt include charger, so, does the ipod charge when its plugged into a computer? if it does, could i leave it in overnight? or might cause some tech issues?

1. yes it charges while plugged into the computer....you can leave it over night, however the ipod battery only take a few hours to charge....
2. Yes it does charge while plugged in and you should have no problem letting it sit charging overnight because it will simply stop when fully charged

5. Yes, it charges while plugged into a computer. I'm not sure about ech issues with that, since I've never left mine charging all night, but iHomes (or knock-offs, like mine) also charge iPods, and you can leave them in those overnight (I know because it's my alarm clock as well). Enjoy your tunes!
