if your job specialization covers computer hardware, what do you usually do and what should you know? please include computer software. thank you

1. "Computer hardware" is not specialization. Do you intend to build computers using components made by other companies? Or do you want to design computer processors? Or work on human interface devices? So I guess the best answer to your question... In order to specialize in computer hardware you should know computer hardware.
