What are the Responsibilities of a Computer Hardware / Network Engineer?

I want to know what excatly a computer hardware enng who is employed for maitaining the Systems.I mean If suppose a Motherboard,SMPS,RAM,Hardisk,etc does not work ,then does the enngineer have to reapir in manuallly himself.Also i would like to know the job of network enngineer ?

1. It depends on the size of your company, but most SEs are not responsible for manual repairs. Of course, a small company may need you to do this and other you may find your self making small fixes if you work for a larger company, but generally this is not part of the job.
