No Answer From The Computer Forums Two Hours Ago (?)?

Tried the Coumpter-Hardware-Other Hardware forum(s) to no avail. Can anyone tell me if I can take out my floppy (A) drive, and replace it with a zip drive (using the same hook-up/connections that were attached to my floppy/A drive)? Also, can anyone tell me what the red & black cable ends are on the end of keyboard hook-up - in other words, this keyboard (Hewlett Packard), that was given to me, has a multi-function wire or cable - one obviously to connect to the back of my tower, the other has red and black (male) ends, like something that a video game or audio device would have. Can I hook-up and use the keyboard without the red&black being attached to anything? THX in advance - g :)

  1. Yes, you can take out the A drive and put in a zip drive using the connections that come with the zip drive. Don't know anything about the keyboard hook-up.
