Can i get a Student Discount on Apple Computers?

Someone told me that i can get a discount of 500 bucks?

1. I've never seen that big of a discount.. My wife bought one in grad school and got a free ipod and 100 bucks off because she was a student. This was a temporary promotion, though. They offer promotions through Apple for this kind of thing, so you'll need to check their website for any discounts. The biggest discount I could find on a quick search was 50 bucks though.
