does mac have a discount on their computers around christmas time?

does mac have discounts on their macbook pros around christmas time. I really want one but I dont want to spend 2 thousand dollars on one. im in college so i will get a 2 hundred off but what about christmas ?

5. In the 4 years I worked there, I only saw sales the day after thanksgiving; and they didn't stack/combine with the Student Discount. And unless you are attached to the MacBook Pro; you can get a less expensive computer (MacBook or iMac)

7. Nope, apple does not lower their prices for the holidays. The only time you'll see a price drop is when they update their products. If your planning on getting a mac book pro I would wait until January or February... I believe they will be updating that line around then. If you don't want to wait that long and don't really care about updates (they may be minor or may be a complete redesign) then buy now. But sorry, no price drops for the holidays.
