Where can I buy a cheap pc with a lot of memory?

I want to buy a cheap computer with a Windows Vista or Windows Xp software for under $500 with at least 2 GB of RAM and a trillion bytes of harddrive memory(the most a computer can have), also for it to come with a CD and DVD burner

WOW!!! first, you can't buy a computer with a terabyte of hard drive space yet. (the hard drive itself costs $450+) you can get a great fast computer on eBay for around that much, but it won't have a terabyte of Hard drive space good luck!

Good Luck... You'll spend at least 500 for hard drives... The most a computer can handle is 2TB, which is 2048 GB. That is a ridicilous amount...but depending on what you're doing with it... it could be good. I would not call Dell for anything... building a computer is better for anything...Dell uses propriatery parts that only they replace. To prevent computer users from upgrading computer processors, they use a mobile board. You don't want to get stuck with that crap. Buy some kickass SATA hard-drives (500 gb x 4 hdd) and set up a RAID 4 system. You will rock the block with that. Be prepard to spend at least $1000 for that. But that $1000 computer will be the best for about 5 years...well worth it. Id do this... Get an ASUS motherboard ($299) 4x 500GB hdd's (SATA - $300/hdd) 4gb (4x1gb dual channel DDR2 - higest pc rating that mobo can handle) and Windows Ultimate Vista. GeForce Card (Possible SLI) So If you want that, it's about 2grand. But well worth it!!! Cheers!
I bought a compaq at best buy for $489.It only had a gig of ram but you can add another for $100.It has a 160 gig of hard drive space(I added another 160 gigs for $59.)And it has a 3.0 ghtz cpu...good luck
sorry not for $500 the drive alone cost that much.
