I am doing a PC recovery on my Compaq desktop computer... ?

After this is done what should I do? Does anyone have any steps that should be followed to make sure everything is updated and runs properly?

1. when you did your pc recovery, did you install all of the pc drivers. if not go to the hompage of compaq, i think its hp, then go to support and drivers. follow the directions. once you are on th epage where it shows the diff. drivers, go to device manager, if you run vista, type device manager in the search box, if on xp: 1. From the Start menu, select My Computer. Alternatively, double-click My Computer on the desktop. 2. Under "System Tasks", click View system information. 3. In the System Properties window, click the Hardware tab, and then click Device Manager. then find what drivers are on your pc, if any are missing download from the website.
