Where can I sell or exchange an old laptop to get either a discount or get a new laptop?

i have an old laptop computer from like the 1998 and i was wondering if there are places that i can either exchange it for a new one or give it to someone and get a discount.

1. You could try placing Ads on your local newspapers. There might be someone somewhere looking for an old laptop. ;) or sell it on ebay!!!! =]
2. You don't have much hope unless you can find someone looking for spare parts, you certainly won't get part exchange on a laptop that's 10 years old. Try ebay.
