Are there any good deals to be had on a MacBook Pro, apart from the student discount?

Do computer stores ever consider giving discounts for people paying in cash, like some other stores that sell high-ticket items? Are there any _good_ on-line stores with sales, that ship to Canada? Any tips...?

1. HI there...Apple rarely offers discounts other than to educators. There use to be some retailers who gave cash discounts, but this option was discontinued years ago to prevent unfair competitive business practices among one another.
