How many computers can you install Windows 7 on?
I am going to get Windows 7, and I was wondering if you can install it on two different computers; I think that's how it used to be, so in case you had two at home or one at work. We have two at home and would not like to buy two copies because Windows 7 is already pretty pricey. And if you can't, then will there be at least a discount for the second one?

- No. You have only ever been able to install ANY version of ANY Windows on ONE computer at once. EVER. That's all there is to it. No, you don't get a discount.
- OEM license gets you one install tied to a specific computer. A full retail copy gets you one install that can be used on multiple computers but only on one at a time. If you install it on one computer then decide you want it on another instead, you have to uninstall it from the first computer before installing it on the other one. So in short, no you can only install it on one computer. And no there is no discount for multiple copies. If you happen to be a student you can buy one copy at an extremely low price from www.ultimatesteal.com
- Sorry, you can only install it on one computer. -MM
