cheapest PC/upgrades to run the new starcraft 2?

ok so as of now, I only have a MacBook and a cheap HP microsoft XP 2002 1GB ram (note that i am not very well with computer hardware knowledge, just how to use them) I was wondering what the cheapest way possible would be to run upcoming starcraft 2. I already know that I can't upgrade my macs graphics card so thts out of the question. but I want to know would it be cheaper to upgrade my RAM and graphics card on my old pc or buy a newer one specifically for gaming.
