Where can I get a new Desktop computer for a low price?
I have a Dell right now, but I'd like to get a HP. I have a HP laptop and absolutly love it!!! Does anyone know where I can get a good price on a new HP desktop? Or any other comp besides a Dell? I already have a really good flat panel monitor and everything so I would really only need the tower part, unless it comes in a package for a really good price.

- I'd look for an Acer on ebay, search for a refurbished one, a P4 should be about $250-$300, a duo core 4400+ should be about $300-$350.
- well for one DONT go to Frys or Office Depot they are way over priced and will rip you off im not sure where to get one maybe CompUSA but i just wanted to let you know that Frys is a ripoff

- You should definetly go to new egg.com. They have the best prices out of anyother place that I have seen. You probably are looking for something with a 120 gb hard drive. 1 gb of ram. A dvd and cd burner and player. Hopefully that helps. Good luck and thanks for reading. Craig, ~Computer Specialist~

- you can check out the HP website or any direct computer website... u can also check out computer geeks.com
- I got my HP desktop, a Compaq Presario, with monitor and combo printer, scanner, copier at Best Buy, for about $810.00....that was last summer.....so their prices shouldn't be much different now. I then went back and upgraded my monitor from a 15 inch to a 19 inch (MUCH better)....and did that within 2 weeks of the original purchase, so they gave me a good deal on the upgrade too....cost about $40. Since then, I have just added 1 GB of RAM memory to it....(came originally with 512MB) now it works like a dream.....much faster than before. It is capable of holding up to 4 GB of RAM.....so that is great memory capacity for a desktop.
