Does the student discount for Mac Computers work outside of the US?

I live in south-east asia and I'm planning to buy a mac, but does the student discount work here as well? I'm Freshmen in High School.

2. No. It only applies to high education of U.S. schools and doesn't work for most schools in the U.S. as well, just ones that are eligible. If you're taking U.S. classes of high education online perhaps, you can get the discount, but it must be shipped within the U.S. states or have it shipped to a relative/friend on the mainland, and have them ship it to you. They won't ship to P.O. Boxes.
